The palace’s simple wooden windows offer great views outside the city and also helped keep the rooms well-ventilated during hot summers.
These windows also provided an opportunity for the queens to peek into the hallway and learn about the activities of the common area of the palace.
There is a special passage that the king used to visit the queens according to his preference and comfort.

We missed this restaurant, but we had a chance to look from the roof. This was before the king’s suite.
The temple dedicated to Prince Nahar is also visible from the roof.

A 10 minute walk took us towards a restaurant called “Padao”. In addition to providing a place to relax and eat, it’s a great place to watch the sunset and click on great photos.
We arrived at this restaurant about an hour before sunset and got the best location with a view of the city.
There is a separate entrance fee to the wax museum. It cost INR 500 for Indians and INR 700 for foreigners. We did not visit the wax museum because we were more interested in the fort and the tickets looked a little overpriced.
A beautiful antique-looking carriage is on display near the museum to attract visitors.
